Our owner has valuable experience working with different agencies that provide healthcare, dental, counseling and therapy services.   We partner with families, therapists, dentists and counseling agencies to make sure children, families and teachers have what they need to be successful.

We are grateful to enjoy good relationships with the parents who choose our school.  This helps us to have good communication with parents about what happens in their child’s day.  It is also important for parents to have regular opportunities to be involved in their child’s learning.

For Parents

We invite parents to participate in their children’s education. Parents are invited to read to the children, play and participate in learning activities and projects.

We also partner with Family Central to offer parenting classes at our center. Being a parent can be hard. These classes teach our parents national best practices in parenting.

Intensive Reading

Students who struggle to read will have a difficult time with school.  For the past 5 years, we have partnered with FIU’s Summer Reading program.  Graduate students from FIU work with children at our center who are entering kindergarten to help them improve reading skills over the summer.

Dental Screenings

For many years, we have been pleased to host the “Seals on Wheels” program over the summer. The Florida Department of Health in Miami’s “Seals on Wheels” dental program recommends preventive dental services to children.  Early preventive oral health habits, such as routine dental care and good oral hygiene, can lead to overall oral health throughout a person’s life. By working together, parents, practitioners and educators can enhance children’s learning outcomes, well-being and development.
